Students of 39 Riga schools switch to distance learning because of Covid-19
RIGA, Sept 25 (LETA) - Groups of students from 39 schools in Riga have switched to distance learning because of Covid-19 outbreaks, LETA was told at the city's education, culture and sports department.
In all, 88 groups of students are now learning from home in Riga.
Covid-19 cases have been detected in seven groups of students at seven preschools.
Students have been sent to quarantine at home as Covid-19 infections are confirmed both among schoolchildren and teachers. Due to Covid-19 positive teachers, remote learning has been ordered for 13 groups of students from three Riga schools and two groups of preschool pupils.
