Riga City Council plans to increase municipal budget revenue by EUR 65.4 million
RIGA, Nov 11 (LETA) - Riga City Council plans to increase revenue in this year's municipal budget by EUR 65.4 million, according to draft amendments to the municipal budget, which the Finance and Administrative Affairs Committee plans to review this Wednesday, November 13.
As a result of the budget amendments, revenue in the Riga budget would grow from around EUR 1.355 billion to EUR 1.420 billion.
Meanwhile, budget expenditure would increase by EUR 38.3 million, from EUR 1.546 billion to EUR 1.584 billion.
Consequently, the Latvian capital city's budget expenditure will exceed revenue by an estimated EUR 164 million.
