Seven hospitals have enough PPE for just about a week
RIGA, Jan 26 (LETA) - Seven Latvian hospitals have enough personal protective equipment for just about a week, according to a report presented at a joint meeting of the government and the Crisis Management Council today.
The names of these hospitals have not been revealed to the public, but the report says that eleven out of forty hospitals in Latvia have enough respirators for about two to three weeks. A week ago, twelve hospitals had enough respirators for two-three weeks.
Twelve hospitals have enough lab coats for two to three weeks, and two hospitals for just about a week.
Just like a week ago, six hospitals have enough non-sterile gloves for two to three weeks.
Six hospitals have enough face shields and goggles for two to three weeks, and three hospitals for just about one week.
In the meantime, hospitals have enough surgical masks for one to three months or even longer.
Other Latvian hospitals have all of the said PPE for one to three months or longer.
