Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga, Liepaja
RIGA, March 28 (LETA) - Of the 324 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia on Saturday, nearly 36 percent were recorded in Riga and a relatively high number of cases was recorded also in Liepaja, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
Riga reported 117 new Covid-19 cases, which brought the capital city's 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases to 2,437.
Liepaja reported 41 new cases, while the city's cumulative 14-day incidence reached 242. In Jelgava, the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases reached 324, with 27 cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is 380.5, according to LETA's estimates.
