So far 550 people have received Covid-19 jabs at Valmiera mass vaccination center
RIGA, April 9 (LETA) - Last weekend and this week, 550 people have received Covid-19 shot at the mass vaccination center of Valmiera, LETA learned from the local government.
The center will temporarily suspend operations as of today, while future operations depend on availability of vaccines and the number of persons willing to vaccinate. Vaccination at the center is ensured by Vidzeme Hospital.
As reported, on Thursday, 5,786 people were vaccinated against Coviud-19 in Latvia which is the second best result this week, still it is by one third below Wednesday's record, according to the National Health Service data.
