Riga plans to spend more than EUR 10 million on street and pavement renovation
Riga, April 10 (LETA) - More than EUR 10 million is planned to be spent on the renovation of Riga's streets and pavements this year, the External Communications Department of Riga City Council informed LETA.
The total area of the streets and pavements to be renovated this year is 343,361 square meters.
The works will cover a wide area across the city - from Imanta, Zolitude, Sampeters, Agenskalns, Tornakalns and Bolderaja in Pardaugava to Jugla, Teika, the Centre, Grizinkalns, Vecmilgravis and other neighborhoods on the right bank of the Daugava.
This year, a total of 21 street resurfacing and 11 pavement resurfacing projects are planned.
