Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava
RIGA, Jan 21 (LETA) - Out of the 902 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia over the past 24 hours, 443 were recorded in Riga, Daugavpils and Jelgava, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 320 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 3,504. In Daugavpils, 84 new cases brought the 14-day number of Covid-19 cases to 909.
In Jelgava, the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases reached 414, with 39 cases discovered in the past 24 hours.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is now 637.7.
