Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga
RIGA, March 10 (LETA) - Of the 639 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, 34 percent have been recorded in Riga, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 217 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 2,708.
Daugavpils reported 47 new cases, while the cumulative 14-day incidence has dropped to 413. Liepaja reported 29 new cases, the the two-week cumulative incidence declined to 304 people.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is currently 429.4, according to LETA's estimates.
