Financial Times names Riga best investment destination in Europe for the third year in a row
RIGA, March 12 (LETA) - For the third year in a row, Riga has been ranked Europe's best investment destination by Financial Times.
Riga City Council informed LETA that Riga took part in the MIPIM forum in Cannes, France, where it received two awards as one of the best investment destinations in Europe in the Financial Times' annual study "European Cities and Regions of the Future 2025".
Riga was ranked third in the "Human Capital and Lifestyle". Vilnius came second and Wroclaw, Poland, placed first.
Riga Mayor Vilnis Kirsis (New Unity) says that Riga's performance shows that it is on the right track in making the city an increasingly attractive destination for investment.
