423 tourist facilities have voiced readiness to admit 9,000 refugees from Ukraine - Economics Ministry
RIGA, March 11 (LETA) - Until March 10, 423 tourist facilities have voiced their readiness to accommodate about 9,000 refugees from Ukraine, according to a survey conducted by the Economics Ministry.
Most of the tourist facilities are from Tukums municipality (38), Riga (35), Madona (25), Cesis municipality (24), Liepaja and Dienvidkurzeme municipality (24), Jurmala (22), Ventspils city and municipality (22) and Sigulda municipality (21).
The ministry reminded that state institutions provide coordinated support to Ukraine and Ukrainian residents.
Companies that are ready to recruit employees from Ukraine are invited to register their vacancies with the State Employment Agency.
