EUR 2 million to be allocated for one-time employment benefit for Ukrainian civilians
RIGA, Aug 23 (LETA) - The government today decided to allocate additional EUR 2 million for one-time employment benefit to Ukrainian civilians.
This is necessary to ensure one-time employment benefit at the amount of one minimum monthly wage before they start employment.
According to the State Employment Agency, in the time period between June 5 until July 24, 305 applications for the benefit a week were submitted. With the same intensity, the number of applications until the middle of November might exceed 11,300.
