President wishes everyone will to do things and to cooperate in new school year

Riga, Sept 1 (LETA) - Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics wishes everyone the will to do things and to cooperate in the new school year.

He emphasizes that today, in their own way, everyone begins a new school year - pupils, students, teachers, lecturers, parents and grandparents.

Rinkevics wishes everyone who will open the doors of a school or university this year to find in themselves curiosity, empathy, healthy stubbornness, and the joy of exploration and creativity.

"Let us assume that school will be difficult, but let us work to make school a place where it is always good. Let school provide not only knowledge, but also peace and security. Let school be a safe place for every student, even after school hours. And, of course, let school also be a place of fun and a little bit of spicy feelings to remember forever," the president said.

He wishes that everyone has the will to do things and also to stop when necessary. "Let the cooperation become more important than competition," the president said.
