Free vehicle inspections to be held in eight Latvian cities in December
RIGA, Nov 29 (LETA) - On December 1-11, free vehicle inspections ahead of the winter will be conducted in eight Latvian cities, representatives of Circle K fuel retailer reported.
Last year, 700 vehicles were inspected in a similar campaign, and in half of the cases different problems were detected.
Safe Driving School director Janis Vanks said that as the winter is approaching, drivers should pay attention to winter tires, fuel, windshield wipers and windshield wiper fluid, as well as the condition of the brakes. "Looking back at least year's experience, when we inspected some 70 cars a day, we concluded that such inspections are necessary," said Vanks.
The free vehicle inspections are organized by Safe Driving School and Circle K.
