30 schools and 9 kindergartens in Riga affected by Covid-19
RIGA, Dec 6 (LETA) - In Riga, 30 schools and nine kindergartens are currently affected by Covid-19 cases, LETA was told at the Riga Education, Culture and Sports Department.
Because of Covid-19 infections, distance learning has been ordered for 70 classes in the capital city's schools and 12 groups of preschool institutions.
Separate Covid-19 cases have also been found in nine preschools, five schools and three music schools.
In all, 15 schoolchildren, five teachers, four technical employees and one school administrator have Covid-19.
