RIGA, Jan 14 (LETA) - Family physician Juris Jakovins who has patients in Valmiera and Renceni, took care of his patients while having Covid-19 symptoms, according to information from the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).

All patients who contacted with the family physician in the time period from December 27 until January 11 are no contact persons and should observe quarantine at home.

Jakovins also is a lawmaker at the Valmiera city council, representing the Union of Greens and Farmers. The last city council meeting was on December 29, but since that time Jakovins had not met with his colleagues at the Valmiera local council.
