Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga, Rezekne and Daugavpils
RIGA, May 22 (LETA) - Of the 441 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, 31 percent were recorded in Riga, while there was also a large number of new cases in Rezekne and Daugavpils, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
Riga reported 138 new Covid-19 cases, which brought the capital city's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases to 2,391.
Rezekne recorded 16 new Covid-19 cases. The cumulative 14-day Covid-19 incidence reached 240 in Rezekne. Daugavpils registered 15 new cases, and the cumulative 14-day incidence has reached 240.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population now stands at 386.9, according to LETA's estimates.
