More than 60% of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga
RIGA, Sept 20 (LETA) - Out of the 138 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia over the past 24 hours, more than 60 percent were recorded in Riga, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 85 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 1,935.
Jurmala reported 17 new Covid-19 cases, Valmiera municipality reported 11 cases, Marupe municipality - ten cases, and a number of other municipalities reported fewer cases.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population rose to 323.1.
