EUR 5 million to be distributed to 33 municipalities for recovery from Covid-19 crisis
RIGA, Jan 28 (LETA) - The Cabinet of Ministers on Thursday decided to distribute EUR 5 million among 33 municipalities for recovery from the Covid-19 crisis.
The Finance Ministry explained that funding has been allocated to those municipalities whose equalising revenue per equalizing unit is lower than EUR 427, and the average unemployment level in the past five months has been higher than 6 percent.
In total, 33 municipalities meet the above mentioned criteria.
