Bauska municipality's 2026 budget priorities will be security and education
Riga, Oct 31 (LETA) - The priorities of the 2026 budget of Bauska municipality will be security, education and traffic infrastructure, according to a decision adopted by the municipal council this week.
The decision approves the priority directions and projects for next year's budget. The aim of the municipal budget is to allocate the forecast available financial resources for the period to the performance and development of the municipality's functions and tasks in accordance with the action lines, priorities, tasks, action plan and investment plan set out in the municipality's development planning documents, in order to achieve the objectives set out in these documents.
According to the development planning documents of the Bauska municipality, the priority directions of the municipality's budget for 2026 will be ensuring the safety functionality, ensuring the sustainable education function and improving the traffic infrastructure. Energy efficiency measures and personnel policy have also been identified as priorities.
