16,070 have received Covid-19 vaccines, including 571 who have received second dose
RIGA, Jan 19 (LETA) - In Latvia, in total 16,070 medics and employees of medical institutions have received the Covid-19 vaccine, including 571 people who have received the second does of the vaccine, according to the National Health Service data.
The total number of administered doses has reached 16,641. On Monday, 268 people received the first dose, and 571 people received the second dose.
On Monday, the second dose of the vaccine was administered to medics and employees of the Riga East University Hospital, Pauls Stradins University Hospital, Children's University Hospital, Daugavpils Regional Hospital, Jelgava City Hospital, Jekabpils Regional Hospital, Liepaja Regional Hospital, Rezekne Hospital, Vidzeme Hospital, Ziemelkurzeme Regional Hospital and national rehabilitation center Vaivari.
As reported, the second wave of vaccination was started on Monday for medics who received the first dose at the end of last year.
