More than half of clients, half of employees test positive for Covid-19 in one of branches of Derpele social care home
RIGA, Dec 17 (LETA) - More than half of clients and half of employees of Derpele social care center at Derpele Manor tested positive for Covid-19, the center's head Inta Savica reported.
Derpele social care home of the Latvian Red Cross provides social care and rehabilitation services in three branches in Bauska county. Savicka said that Covid-19 cases were detected at Derpele Manor. Clients and employees of other branches have also been tested, but no cases were discovered.
Savicka did not reveal exact number of cases, but said that more than half of the 40 clients have tested positive, as well as half of the staff.
