42% of Latvia's latest Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga
RIGA, Nov 1 (LETA) - Of the 772 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, 42 percent have been recorded in Riga, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 323 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 10,450.
Daugavpils registered 48 new cases in the past 24 hours as its cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases reached 2,812.
Ogre municipality reported 39 new Covid-19 cases, Valmiera municipality reported 36, Cesis municipality - 28, Jelgava and Sigulda municipalities each reported 24 cases, Ropazi municipality reported 23, and a number of other municipalities reported fewer cases.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is currently 1,745, according to CDC data.
