Most of new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga
RIGA, April 10(LETA) - Of the 666 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia on Friday, 32 percent were recorded in Riga and a relatively high number of cases were recorded also in Jelgava, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
Riga reported 210 new Covid-19 cases, which brought the capital city's 14-day cumulative number of Covid-19 cases to 2,306.
In Jelgava, the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases rose to 295, with 44 cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
Jurmala reported 21 new cases, while the city's cumulative 14-day incidence reached 188.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is 342, according to LETA's estimates.
