Heating tariffs to grow 25% in Kuldiga from October
RIGA, July 7 (LETA) - Kuldiga plans to increase heating tariffs by 25 percent as of October 1 to EUR 66.36 per MWh, excluding value added tax (VAT), according to the announcement published on Latvia's official gazette Latvijas Vestnesis.
Kuldigas Siltumtikli heating provider has submitted the new tariff plan to the Public Utilities Commission.
The current tariff is EUR 52.99 per MWH, excluding VAT.
The company explains the changes with the growth in energy resource prices.
According to Firmas.lv, Kuldigas Siltumtikli last year posted EUR 1.75 million in turnover and earned EUR 0.29 million in profit. The company belongs to Kuldiga municipality.
