Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga, Daugavpils and Olaine region
RIGA, Mar 3 (LETA) - Out of the 919 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia over the past 24 hours, 28 percent were recorded in Riga, but Daugavpils and the Olaina region reported many new cases as well, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
The 261 new cases discovered in Riga brought the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in the Latvian capital to 3,068.
Daugavpils cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases dropped to 465, with 64 new Covid-19 cases detected in the past 24 hours.
The Olaine region registered 35 new Covid-19 cases, while its cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases rose to 206.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population edged down to 491.7.
