Half of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga
RIGA, June 7 (LETA) - Of the 76 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, half have been recorded in Riga, according to the data of the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
Other municipalities registered significantly fewer cases, the CDC said.
Riga confirmed 38 new cases and the capital city's cumulative 14-day Covid-19 incidence dropped to 1,276 cases.
Jelgava, Jurmala and the Olaine region each registered three cases.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population dropped to 201.2, according to CDC data.
