Highest Covid-19 incidence reported in Daugavpils, Preili and Jekabpils municipalities
RIGA, April 6 (LETA) - Highest Covid-19 incidence has been reported in Preili municipality, Daugavpils and Jekabpils municipality, according to the Center of Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
Two-week cumulative incidence in Latvia has declined to 1,285.3 cases per 100,000 population, and this level has been exceeded in 18 municipalities.
Preili municipality reported 2,446.4 cases per 100,000 residents, followed by Daugavpils with 2,285.8 cases and Jekabpils municipality with 2,186 cases per 100,000 residents.
The incidence was higher than average in the country also in Rezekne, Ventspils, Aluksne, Livani, Madona, Rezekne and Augsdaugava municipalities, Liepaja, Ludza, Kraslava, Varaklani, Gulbene, Valka, Kuldiga and Adazi municipalities.
