RIGA, Oct 2 (LETA) - United List emerged as the winner of the 14th Saeima elections in the Kurzeme electoral district, receiving 22.05 percent of the vote, which would give the party three mandates in Latvia's next parliament, according to the preliminary data released by the Central Election Commission after counting votes from all polling stations in Kurzeme.

The Union of Greens and Farmers has taken second place in Kurzeme with 21.1 percent of the vote, also earning three mandates. 

New Unity follows with 16.44 percent and the National Alliance with 10.25 percent, each earning two mandates. 

Meanwhile, 4.8 percent of voters in Kurzeme have supported the Progressives and 4.27 have voted for Latvia First, which gives one mandate to each party. For Stability has received 2.17 percent of the vote in Kurzeme and no mandate from this electoral district.
