55mm of rain falls in Skriveri overnight
RIGA, Aug 1 (LETA) - 55 millimeters of rain fell in Skrivery since it started to rain Sunday evening until 8 a.m. this morning, according to the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology Center.
It is still raining heavily in Vidzeme, and in some regions in Zemgale and Latgale.
According to meteorologists, heavy rain will continue all day in Vidzeme and some regions of Latgale.
