Riga City Council to borrow EUR 6.4 million for three transport infrastructure projects
RIGA, July 7 (LETA) - The Riga City Council today decided to borrow EUR 6.5 million for three transport infrastructure projects, the Riga City Council financial and administration affairs .
EUR 853,260 will be used for bypass over Karla Ulmana Gatve on Jurkalnes Street, EUR 4.8 million for building Imanta-Daugavgriba cycling path, and EUR 731,986 for reconstruction of the crossing of Maskavas and Krustpils Streets.
The loan will be taken from Treasury for a period of ten years, and payment of principal sum will be postponed for three years.
