    Latvenergo to present 139 sets of used computers to Latvian schools

    RIGA, Feb 10 (LETA) - Latvenergo power concern will present 139 sets of computers to nine regional education institutions in Kurzeme, Latgale, Vidzeme and Zemgale that were earlier used by Latvenergo employees, LETA learned from the company.

    Latvenergo representatives said that the computers are in a good condition. The total number of computer sets donated to schools by Latvenergo will thus exceed 1,500.

    The largest number or 26 computers will be sent to E.Birznieka-Upisa Elementary School No.1 in Tukums, 25 to Zemgale Secondary School in Slampe, 20 to Viesite and Varkava Secondary Schools each, 15 to Valmiera State Gymnasium, ten to Dundaga Arts and Music School and Mezinieku Elementary School each, eight to Aizupe Elementary Sschool and five to Rozuep Elementary School.
