Large scale vaccination centers will be set-up in 20 Latvian cities and towns
RIGA, March 11 (LETA) - Large scale vaccination centers will be set-up in 20 Latvian cities and towns, according to a presentation prepared by the Health Ministry which was presented to the government today.
Two large-scale vaccination centers are expected to be set-up in Riga, which will be capable of vaccinating 20,000 persons per week. Also, 14 smaller vaccination points will be set-up in the capital, which will be capable of vaccinating 3,000 persons per week.
Large-scale vaccination centers will also be set-up in Daugavpils, Jelgava, Liepaja and Jurmala, which will be able to vaccinated between 5,000 to 8,000 persons per week.
The vaccination centers that will be set-up in Cesis, Rezekne, Valmiera and Ventspils will be able to vaccinate between 3,000 to 5,000 persons per week.
Smaller vaccination centers will also be set-up un Madona, Bauska, Aluksne, Salaspils, Tukums, Kuldiga, Saldus, Sigulda, Aizkraukle and Gulbene, which will be capable of vaccinating 1,000 persons per week.
