Harmony loses big in Daugavpils
RIGA, Oct 2 (LETA) - Only 16.89 percent of voters cast their votes for Harmony party in the 14th Saeima elections in Daugavpils, where Andrejs Elksnins (Harmony) is the mayor, down from 35.73 percent in the 13th Saeima elections, LETA learned from the Central Election Commission.
For Stability emerged on top in Daugavpils with 26.01 percent of the vote.
10.95 percent of voters in Daugavpils supported the Latvian Russian Union, 9.41 percent the Union of Greens and Farmers, 7.53 voted for Sovereign Power, 5.63 percent for Latvia First, and 5.5 percent for For Him And Her.
32,715 voters took part in the elections in Daugavpils, bringing voter turnout in the city to 58.97 percent.
