In Latvia, average age of death last year was 75.9 years
RIGA, June 27 (LETA) - In Latvia, the average age at death last year was 75.9 years, which was five months higher than in 2024, according to data compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau.
The average age of deceased men last year was 70.6 years, while that of women was 80.5 years.
In total, 26,109 deaths were registered in Latvia in 2025, which is 552, or 2.1 percent, fewer than in the previous year.
