Elksnins' party Let's Go, Latgale! wins 14 out of 15 seats in Daugavils
Riga, June 8 (LETA) - The party of the incumbent mayor Andrejs Elksnins Let's Go, Latgale! has won 14 out of 15 seats in Daugavpils, according to data published by the Central Election Commission (CVK).
Counting the votes in all 30 polling stations in Daugavpils, Let's Go, Latgale! received 68.25 percent of the votes, while the second place with 6.88 percent of the votes was taken by party For Latvia's Development, which received one seat in these elections.
The other parties in Daugavpils have not broken the 5 percent barrier.
In total, 23,277 citizens voted in Daugavpils out of 54,893 eligible voters.
