63 medical institutions across Latvia will ensure gradual vaccination of senior citizens
RIGA, Feb 26 (LETA) - In total, 63 medical institutions across Latvia will ensure gradual vaccination of senior citizens over 70 years of age, LETA learned from the Vaccination Bureau.
Today and next week, about 8,800 seniors over the age of 70 receive invitation to contact the medical institution in their vicinity to receive the Covid-19 vaccine.
The invitations are sent out by e-mail and SMS registered on manavakcina.lv portal or by phone 8989.
Vaccination in Latvia is organized based on priority group principle. At present vaccination of the third priority group - senior citizens over 70 - has been started.
