Heating tariffs in Aizkraukle to grow 57% as of November
RIGA, Sept 26 (LETA) - Aizkraukles Siltums municipal heating utility plans to increase tariffs by 57 percent as of November, according to the new tariff plan.
The tariff plan submitted to the Public Utilities Commission provide that the end tariff for heating supply will increase from EUR 90.77 per MWh to EUR 159.19 per MWh.
The tariff changes are related with significant changes of costs for fuel and heating energy.
Aizkraukles Siltums belongs to Aizkraukle municipality. Last year the company posted EUR 1.72 million in turnover and posted EUR 27,000 in profit.
