Ecolines bus operator to launch passenger service on Ventspils-Riga route in November
RIGA, Oct 23 (LETA) - Norma-A, the operator Ecolines bus services, will open a new route between Ventspils and Riga on November 1, LETA was told at the company.
Ecoline buses will depart from the Ventspils bus terminal eight times a day: at 7:00, 8:00, 9:30, 11:00, 13:00, 14:30, 17:00 and 19:30. Eight departures a day are also scheduled from Riga.
The opening of the new bus route will take place this Saturday, October 26, at the Ventspils Science Center Vizium.
As reported, Ecolines' turnover last year was EUR 27.039 million, an increase of 10 percent against 2022, while the company's profit grew 41.1 percent year-on-year to EUR 1.695 million, according to Firmas.lv.
The company was registered in 1993 and has a share capital of EUR 4.739 million. Ecolines Estonia owns an 82.17 percent stake in Norma-A.
