(w/CORR) Voter turnout on first three days of early voting in local elections at 7.59%

RIGA, June 5 (LETA) - As many as 104,470 or 7.59 percent of voters have cast their votes in the local elections in Latvia on the first three early voting days.
At the moment, the highest voter turnout is in Riga, where 9.59 percent of voters have cast their ballots. Voter turnout in Vidzeme is 7.82 percent, in Latgale - 6.26 percent, in Zemgale - 6.02 percent, while in Kurzeme 5.69 percent of voters have been to polling stations so far.
So far, early voting has experienced technical glitches that affected operations of the systems and registers necessary for the polling process.
Early voting will continue until Saturday: polling stations will be open from 8 am to 11 am on Thursday, June 5, and from 12 pm to 3 pm on Friday, June 6. Saturday will be the official polling day.
