Many of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga, Jelgava, Jurmala
RIGA, May 11 (LETA) - Of the 659 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, 30 percent have been recorded in Riga, with Jelgava and Jurmala also reporting a comparatively high number of cases, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
Riga reported 197 new Covid-19 cases, which brought the capital city's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases to 2,871.
Jelgava's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases reached 359, with 33 cases recorded in the past 24 hours. Jurmala recorded 25 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases to 206.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 population is now 462.8.
