RIGA, Sept 20 (LETA) - The government decided today to allocate EUR 13,643 to three municipalities to compensate expenses in relation to providing financial and material support to admission of refugees and people with alternative protection status.

Jurmala municipality will get EUR 133, Riga Municipality - EUR 9,549, Ropazi municipality - EUR 3,961.

The Environment Protection and Regional Development Ministry explained that these are actual expenses reported by local governments.

Only the above mentioned three municipalities submitted applications to the government, asking to compensate for the expenses.
