Hesburger plans to open four to five new fast food restaurants in Latvia next year
RIGA, Dec 2 (LETA) - Finnish and Baltic fast food chain Hesburger plans to open four to five new outlets in Latvia next year, Ieva Salmela, International Development and Marketing Director of Hesburger, told LETA.
She said that there are currently 54 Hesburger outlets in Latvia, while the company plans to develop steadily in Riga and the regions in the future.
This year, it is planned to open a Hesburger outlet in Smiltene in December, while next year four to five new outlets will open in Livani, Liepaja, Ventspils and Riga.
Salmela said that similar development dynamics in Latvia is planned for 2027, and that Hesburger plans to expand to around 80 outlets in Latvia in the next few years.
She noted that Hesburger also sees development opportunities in other Latvian cities, such as Talsi, Gulbene, Madona and others
As reported, in 2024, Hesburger saw its sales grow by six percent against a year before to EUR 57.1 million.
Hesburger launched operations in 1966. Today, the company has more than 470 eateries in nine countries.
