Number of Covid-19 patients in hospitals drops to 726
RIGA, April 7 (LETA) - The number of Covid-19 patients in Latvia's hospitals dropped from 745 on Monday to 726 on Tuesday, with another 73 admissions, the data of the National Health Service shows.
Of all the Covid-19 patients currently receiving treatment in hospitals, 638 have symptoms of medium severity and 88 are severe cases.
Meanwhile, 86 Covid-19 patients were discharged from hospitals on Tuesday. The total number of Covid-19 patients discharged from Latvia's hospitals grew to 10,424.
As reported, Latvia confirmed 643 new Covid-19 cases and nine persons died of the coronavirus on Monday.
