Most of Latvia's new Covid-19 cases recorded in Riga, Sigulda region
RIGA, July 7 (LETA) - Of the 48 new Covid-19 cases confirmed in Latvia in the past 24 hours, 26 were recorded in Riga and four in Sigulda region, according to the data released by the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC).
As a result, the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases in Riga dropped to 306. Meanwhile, Sigulda Region registered four new cases, bringing the cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases there to 39. A number of other municipalities reported fewer cases.
Latvia's cumulative 14-day number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 has now decreased to 35.4.
