Jelgava registered the highest number of Ukrainian refugees outside Riga at the beginning of this year
RIGA, Nov 8 (LETA) - The largest number of Ukrainian war refugees outside Riga at the beginning of this year in Latvia was registered in Jelgava, according to data compiled by the Central Statistical Bureau.
At the beginning of 2025, 10,815 Ukrainian war refugees were registered in Riga, followed by Jelgava with 599 refugees and Daugavpils with 506 Ukrainian war refugees.
In total, 17,457 Ukrainian war refugees were registered in Latvia at the beginning of this year.
