Government to decide on EUR 12.4 million loans to 51 municipal investment projects
RIGA, Aug 30 (LETA) - The government on August 31 will decide on EUR 12.4 million loans to 51 municipal projects, LETA learned from the Environment Protection and Regional Development Ministry.
The projects will be implemented in Tukums, Saldus, Kuldiga, Talsi, Dienvidkurzeme, Jelgava, Bauska, Dobele, Valmiera, Aizkraukle, Gulbene, Madona, Rezekne, Augsdaugava, Adazi and Kekava municipalities as well as in state cities - Riga, Jurmala, Rezekne and Daugavpils.
The most popular investment projects are municipal transport infrastructure development - 27 projects from 16 municipalities. The projects should be completed by the end of 2022.
