Visitor congestion in Sigulda as ''golden autumn'' reaches climax
RIGA, Oct 12 (LETA) - As the so-called ''golden autumn'' or fall colors reach its climax, Sigulda has once again seen its annual traffic jams of visitors on Saturday, according to photos posted on social media.
The so-called "golden autumn" attracts many visitors to the Gauja Valley each year.
Although this weekend all the trees have not yet turned yellow or any other autumn color, many people have headed towards Sigulda to enjoy a warm October weekend.
In the evening, as people head home or back to Riga, traffic towards the capital has increased significantly.
