Public Utilities Commission approved new heating tariffs for seven merchants in Vidzeme
RIGA, Sept 22 (LETA) - The Public Utilities Commission (SPRK) has evaluated and approved new heating tariffs for seven merchants in Vidzeme, LETA learned from the commission.
All new approved tariffs range from EUR 91.66 to EUR 225.62 per MWh and will take force on October 1.
The new tariffs have been approved for Jurmalas Siltums heating utility, Adven Latvia heating utility in Cesis, Valmieras Udens water supply utility, Ogres Namsaimnieks housing manager, Balozu Komunala Saimnieciba housing manager, MS Siltums heating utility in Ogre municipality and Kocenu Komunala Saimnieciba housing manager.
All tariff hikes are related with higher heating generation expenses and increased fuel prices.
SPRK now is reviewing new tariff plans submitted by 30 merchants.
