Occupancy of Covid-19 beds slightly grows in several hospitals
RIGA, March 22 (LETA) - Occupancy of Covid-19 beds has slightly increased in Latvian hospitals, compared to the previous week, according to the Health Ministry's data.
In a week, the number of reprofiled Covid-19 beds decreased by 3 percent - to 1,084. Covid-19 patients are also being treated in other wards and specialized hospitals.
In total, the occupancy of Covid-19 beds in Latvian hospitals from March 14 until March 20 was 69 percent, while occupancy of emergency beds was 53 percent.
