The organisers of the Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala 2026 festival continue to reveal the names of the artists who will take to the stage of the Dzintari Concert Hall this summer as part of the festival. Among them is Noize MC - one of the most distinctive and uncompromising performers on today's Russian-language music scene. His concert will take place on Saturday, 25 July, during the festival's traditional multinational evening, known for its unexpected creative collaborations and its signature sense of artistic freedom.

Behind the stage name Noize MC is Ivan Alekseev - a musician, poet, and master of improvisation, and one of the most recognisable freestyle artists on the Russian-language scene. He began his career in 2003 by founding the band Protivo Gunz. His work cannot be confined to a single genre: his music weaves together hip-hop, rock, and punk, creating a sound that is distinctive, bold, and at the same time strikingly melodic.

Noize MC has earned acclaim for his sharp, intelligent, and consistently sincere lyrics, in which subtle irony, civic conviction, and deeply personal reflection come together. Since the very first days of the full-scale war in Ukraine, the artist has spoken out against it openly and steadfastly, devoting his voice and his work to the ideals of peace, humanity, and support for those who have suffered. His songs - from his early hits to the ambitious hip-hop opera "Orpheus & Eurydice" - have long become anthems for an entire generation of listeners who value not only rhythm in music, but also meaning.

The Laima Rendezvous Jūrmala festival will take place from 24 to 26 July at the Dzintari Concert Hall and is rightly regarded as one of the most anticipated musical events of the summer. Over three evenings, Jūrmala traditionally becomes a hub of international music, vivid emotion, and refined artistic taste, bringing together on one stage stars from Latvia and around the world. Every performance is accompanied by a live orchestra, creating an atmosphere of sincerity, inspiration, and inimitable artistry.
